This page explains what information GridForge collects through this website and how it is used. It is a working draft describing this site's actual current behavior, not a final, professionally reviewed legal document.
01Information We Collect
When you use the quote request form, GridForge collects the information you provide: sport (flag football, tackle football, or 7-on-7), team or organization name, approximate quantity if given, your name, email address, phone number if given, your preferred contact method, and any message you include.
This information is collected as soon as you submit the form and begin the email verification step that follows — not only after that step is completed. If you start a quote request and do not finish verifying your email, GridForge may still have the information you already entered.
GridForge does not request payment information, size breakdowns, artwork uploads, or player rosters through this website.
02Quote Requests and Email Verification
After you submit the quote form, GridForge sends a one-time verification code to the email address you provided and asks you to enter it before continuing. This step confirms that you have access to and control of that email address. It does not confirm your identity, your age, that you are authorized to represent a team or organization, or the legitimacy of any future payment.
The verification code itself is never stored in readable form — GridForge stores a cryptographic hash of the code, together with when it expires, how many times it has been attempted, how many times it has been resent, and when (if ever) it was successfully used. Verification records are designed to expire and may be removed once they are no longer needed, whether or not verification was completed.
03How We Use Information
Information submitted through the quote form is used to respond to your inquiry and continue the conversation about a potential custom uniform project, to verify the email address you provided, and to send you transactional email related to your request — such as your verification code and a confirmation that GridForge received it. It also helps GridForge maintain a record of leads and customer communications, prevent abuse and spam on the quote form, and operate and secure this website.
Submitting the quote form does not sign you up for a marketing or promotional email list. GridForge does not use quote-form information for unrelated marketing without separately asking for your consent.
04Service Providers
GridForge uses a small number of service providers to operate this website and respond to quote requests: Vercel hosts the website and runs its server-side functions; Neon provides the Postgres database where quote-request information is stored; Resend sends transactional email — verification codes, internal lead notifications, and confirmation emails — on GridForge's behalf; and Cloudflare Turnstile helps confirm that a quote-form submission is coming from a real visitor rather than an automated script. GridForge's team email is hosted on Google Workspace.
Each of these providers may process the limited information necessary to perform its service. This page does not make any specific contractual or legal representation about how each provider processes information beyond what is described here — their own privacy disclosures describe that in more detail.
05Cookies, Analytics, and Security Technologies
GridForge's own application code does not set cookies or use browser local storage or session storage for advertising or customer-profile tracking. This website does rely on a small number of third-party services — Cloudflare Turnstile, Vercel Web Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights — that may use their own technical mechanisms, which can include cookies or similar storage, as part of providing their services; that is a function of those providers' own infrastructure, not something built into this website's code.
GridForge uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate site usage and performance, and to track a small number of anonymous events related to the quote form — for example, that the form was started, that email verification began, or that it completed — to understand how well the form is working. These events do not include your name, email address, phone number, or message.
The quote form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-protection tool. As part of that check, limited technical information — such as the device's IP address — may be processed by Cloudflare to help assess whether a submission is coming from a real visitor. GridForge's own systems do not store that IP address. Turnstile is operated by Cloudflare, and its own handling of information (including any cookies or device identifiers it may use) is described in Cloudflare's privacy disclosures, which we recommend reviewing separately.
GridForge does not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other third-party tracking or advertising technologies on this website. Whether a cookie-consent banner is required for the third-party services described above is a jurisdiction-specific legal question that has not yet been formally reviewed.
06Data Retention
GridForge retains quote-request and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, manage potential or existing customer relationships, maintain business records, and meet applicable obligations. A specific retention schedule — such as a fixed number of days or years — has not yet been finalized.
Email verification records are handled separately and more briefly, as described above: they are designed to expire and may be removed once they are no longer needed for their original purpose.
07Data Security
GridForge uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information submitted through this website, including server-side validation, bot protection on the quote form, request-size limits, keeping database and service credentials isolated from the website's public-facing code, storing verification codes only in hashed form, and standard security headers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and GridForge cannot guarantee absolute security.
08Your Choices and Requests
You can ask GridForge about the information associated with your quote request, or ask that it be corrected or deleted, by contacting the address below. GridForge may share information with service providers and business partners as reasonably necessary to operate the website, process quote requests, obtain supplier costing, fulfill approved orders, communicate with you, and protect the service. GridForge aims to limit the information shared for any of these purposes to what is reasonably necessary.
Some jurisdictions may provide additional statutory privacy rights beyond what is described here; those have not yet been formally reviewed for this website.
09Children's Privacy
GridForge's quote process is intended for coaches, team administrators, and other adults requesting custom uniforms on behalf of a team or organization — it is not directed to children. GridForge has not yet completed a formal legal review of children's-privacy requirements for this website.
10Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as the website and business evolve, including as GridForge finalizes a formal data-retention schedule and completes legal review. Continued use of this website after an update means you accept the current version.
